I am a proficient Florida attorney, with over 20 years of legal experience. I first served as a certified legal intern with the Broward State Attorney’s Office before becoming an Assistant Attorney General for the state of Florida.
I was later retained as general counsel for the Solid Waste Authority (SWA) in Palm Beach County, a government agency responsible for over one hundred million dollars worth of budgeted items per year, approximately $300,000,000 of debt obligations and over 400 employees. I serve on the Committee on Exploitation and Abuse of the Elderly and am a member of the Florida and Palm Beach County Bar Associations, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and have practiced in all levels of court up to the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
In addition to my years of experience as a member of the Florida legal profession, I have worked as a Series 7, 63 and 65 licensed financial advisor. This has afforded me an extensive understanding of each of the financial components that go into complex estate planning and Medicaid planning.
